Marshall Alexander has made what in my opinion as the best Paper Totem Design Ever! It is what appears to be a Tv Monster and a Radio Monster. Since this design is so good perhaps this will be Paper Toy of the Week. Who knows, Lets see who cant top this papertoy and well see what I think on Saturday!
Matt Hawkins has teamed up with artist Elio to create a papertoy that is just simply the best Ive seen in a while and I have now decided to do something new called: PAPERTOY OF THE WEEK!!! starting with this weeks best Bark and Beep!
Our well known Paper Foldables guy Bryan Green is a huge fan of the friday the 13th movie series and every Friday the 13th he will release a papertoy version of a character that appeared in any of the Friday the 13th movies. This one is called Sandy who only appeared in the first movie for about 2 minutes but was instanly an unforgettable character.
another video game that looks great is a wiiware game(not sure if its available now) is Commander Video in what I thinks the game is called Bit Trip wich brings back the oldschool 8-BIT videogame feeling in a new remixed version
Chris Beaumont has created an awesome Cubee design based on a Traffic Pole at the corner of 5th and 18th in NYC. His name is RUSTEE1. Its great how he took the actual pictures of the traffic pole and used it on this cubee with grafitti and worn of sticker and marks and such.
Dre has released another one of his non cube papertoys(because all of his papertoys are pretty much in the shape of a cube) and his newest one Mark the Shark a papertoy with a hook in his face that must really hurt.
creative customed Nanibirds have been released that are just fantastic! First theres Pop! by Paul Rackstraw creative and simple but will always help bright up the room! And second Balaclava by the talented Shin Tanaka really nice as always :)
Artist Harlancore has customized Dolly Oblong's Papertotem and turned it into a giant robot along with a boxpunx character. Oh and I almost forgot I will not be posting on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The reason? Oh, because I will be on a short vacation to pennsylvania(I think thats how you spell it).
My friend Luke Glood has made the cutzilla series 1! It first started out with the foldasaurus the friendliest dinosaur on earth! The name Foldasaurus was thought of by me. Series 1 features great customs by artists like Morgan Gleave, Zakane, and thedaydreamkid.
So what are you waiting for get going and make your favorite cutzillas here
Dolly Oblong's paper totem is so popular and the newest custom available is a design from Mexican artist sgto. mandril and is a pretty good design. You can see it is an island native with a tropical leaf hat his head and the body at the bottem.
Well with not much left to say download your own fantastic totem here
Papertoy creator Jerom had releaesed anothern one of the many papertoys of the summer that he announced. Introducing Girafle a part giraffe(one of my favorite animals) & a prehistoric Irish Elk. Sadly this giraffe/elk looks angry not even jerom knows why :P And he also left us one warning when making this: The neck isnt easy to make so be patient.
The incredible Shin Tanaka had made a special papertoy ZIMA but when you make it remember its a bottle model so put it atop a bottle to make it stand. I love Shin's toys but their always to difficult to find I have a few not only because their to hard to find but also because some are to difficult to make. Either way Im happy to feature these on my blog.
download your own ZIMA from over 10 different colors here
Marshall Alexander has made 3 new papertoys for the dutch papertoy show and 2 of the 3 have been revealed! 1st heres Paper Injuries Part 1 a very painful papertoy indeed. Looks like someone wasnt careful with knifes and chopped himself up.
And next heres POP! POP is a kid watchin a 3-D movie with a bunch of popcorn and seems to have a really big mouth to go with that big popcorn.
Speaking of Cooper, Christopher Bonnette made the Candy Bot 10,000 in celebration of Cooper's birthday. Cooper was also received with 2 other birthday papertoys from Brian Castleforte and Matt Hawkins.
A good friend of mine Cooper Berella a.k.a. SuperCooper. His BoxFox series includes customs from some of the best like Matt Hawkins, Christopher Bonnette, Chris Beumont, PHIL, Brian Castleforte, Scott Schaller, and many more! Cooper you have a great series and I just cant belive you managed to make your own series as simple as that.
